Our plan originally with was to use 2 male models, with a plain white backdrop, but we had a few problems the night before and the day of the photoshoot. The night before both of our models dropped out of doing the shoot and when we went to collect all our equipment we were unable to get te white pop up studio.
As a group we had to try and sort something out between us, and in the end myelf and another girl from our group voluntered to be the models, and we ended up having to do it on location aswell. So basically what we had to make the most of was the complete opposite of what we intended to do.
These are just a few images that we found were the better ones out of our contact sheet, and they’ve been edited to try and bring the colour out a bit better.
I’ve been given an assignment where i am to work withing a team for a creative agency. The agency has been commissioned by a well known brand to produce a series of editorial photographs for a brand fashion editorial. The editorial will be published in a well known magazine across 4 pages.
· Your Team brief is:
To produce a range of Fashion photographs for a brand editorial for your client that will be used as 4 page editorial about the brand in a magazine.
· To add a 100-300 words narrative to the editorial photographs on the 4 page spread
Our brand is ‘D&G’, magazine is ‘POP’ and photographer is ‘Nick Knight’
These are just a few still life images that i have taken for part of my Digital Technologies and Print Production module. I have shown some images in their real format and i have also given examples of images where i have used photoshop. I have used different technicques like super imposing, making joiners (with inspiration from David Hockney), and by simpley changing the, tones, contrasts and layers.
Percy Savage.
At the beginning of the term we all watched a programme on Percy Savage and his PR stunts in one of our Friday morning lectures. I suppose i kind of forgot about how amazing he was, and how good he was at PR, until tonight when i’ve done loads of research on him for part of my PR assignment. He was Brilliant.
i kind of have my own critical journal kind of thing going on, on my wall in my room. I just tend to put up things with sentimental value to me and pictures and photographs that i like. :)
